Our Story
We are a local family-run village pub nestled near the Avebury World Heritage Site. Our passion lies in serving up homemade pub classics crafted from the finest local ingredients.
Once a home, becoming an ale house in 1852, and a place of welcoming hospitality ever since - pop in for a bite to eat, a local pint or just a chat.
We hope to see you soon.
We reopened our village pub after a six year closure in December 2018. With the support of the community we switched to takeaway during 2020/2021.
We are now open 4 days a week (Thursday to Sunday) and organise lots of different events - watch out for live music this summer, quiz nights, supper clubs, games nights, curry night - the list goes on.
